Born and raised in Hawke's Bay, I was admitted to the High Court bar in March 2009.

Before entering legal practice, I gained extensive regulatory and commercial experience with the Wellington City Council. I started private legal practice in 2013 and joined Carlile Dowling in 2021. That combination of council experience and legal training gives me a useful perspective when advising clients — particularly on property matters where regulatory requirements and commercial realities intersect.

Practice

I work across the Property and Estates teams, handling matters that often benefit from coordinated thinking about both current transactions and longer-term planning.

My work includes:

• Wills and elder law, including Enduring Powers of Attorney
• Establishing and administering trusts
• Administering estates

Outside Work

When I'm not in the office, you'll find me cycling on Napier's cycleways.
